Always fascinates me when a film suddenly pops up at a #Buffalo theater months after its original release. What did the booker see that made them go "it's time"?

Whatever the answer, I liked BAD SHABBOS a lot. See it at Dipson Amherst starting 7/18.

I wrote about how Apple TV+ didn't win the numbers game on Emmy nomination morning but was in many ways the day's big winner. www.vulture.com/article/emmy...

When our critics group nominated her for supporting actress last year, I received an email from the studio that her name should be listed as Ariana Grande despite the film credit on-screen having Butera. So, which is it?

Prob was just a studio person wanting to interject and pretend they were busy.
Ariana Grande-Butera has joined Josh Gad as part of the voice cast for Jon M. Chu’s upcoming animated musical based on Dr. Seuss’s ‘Oh, The Places You’ll Go!’ Here’s what else we know so far.

Jeff Hiller getting a WELL DESERVED AND OVERDUE Emmy nomination is worth all this other bullshit.

New season of Peter Vullo's Thursday Night Terrors dropped and it reminded me that my attempt to follow from home has gotten woefully behind. Stuck at only 38% now. 40 of 104.

Maybe I'll try to get back to watching a couple a month to catch-up.

I liked SUPERMAN about as much as somebody who mostly doesn’t care about dogs could have liked it, which is to say a solid 3.5/5.

Checking out the new 4K projector at @northparktheatre.bsky.social for Wong Kar-Wai’s IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE.

Haven’t been in a theater for a non-TIFF/non-press screening since 2023. It took seeing a must-see fave on the big screen for the first time to finally get me out.
