It's a selling point for me, I don't want some computer to try to figure out what to show me. I want to choose exactly what I see on my feed and how. If I'm "disengaging" or "completely obsessing" it hasn't been an issue for me.
I think we have extremely different use cases. I'm just glad there's one place where I can opt out of the computer trying to figure out what I want to look at. When that changes, I'll delete my account and go to Fckr or Blppr or whatever horseshit run by awful libertarian perverts comes next.
