I'm really not good at being a leader and knowing how to go about making it happen, but I really want my R&D Community project in Nova Scotia to become an example of what life could be if we didn't have to worry about bullshit like paying rent.

How about we just do that? Ignore the people and their political parties, and let's just hold a national vote on Universal Basic Income.
Let's see what the voter turnout would be when we're not voting for untrustworthy people in suits with vested interests.

Instituting #UBI is probably the only form of compensation that can BEGIN to make up for the past, present, and future harm done to humanity. Wars, police violence, disease, pollution... the rain is no longer safe to drink. THE RAIN!
If they don't offer at least that much, they don't deserve a vote

I once won a million dollar bet on the pronunciation of a word because we were both so sure we were right, but alas, the victor was I. I don't expect to receive any of it, but it is fun to think that if the other person somehow manages to get rich, they might remember & find me & give me a million
