UPDATE - we have found a shelter! Thank you internet! I will keep you posted!
Desperately looking for anyone in Scotland to foster a 2 year old female cat named Bambi. Incredibly affectionate and friendly. Indoor-only. Whether temporary (a few weeks) or longer term.

She's going to be put to sleep otherwise -- due to a heart issue that won't affect her for another 12 months

To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or for the DOW to be over 50,000

WONDER MAN is so so good, I'm surprised the TL isn't full of it. You get a tiny bit more out of it if you saw Iron Man 3 / Shang Chi due to Ben Kingsley's character, but really its own separate story that takes itself seriously, and is wonderfully acted/directed/written. It's about being a creative.

The latter, 100%. He’s virtually Light from Death Note (the parallels are uncannily extensive if you watch both alongside each other, to the point where I genuinely wonder if Vince Gilligan was inspired by it)
Question to all who watched Breaking Bad:

Do you think Walter White genuinely changes over the course of the series, or does he merely shed social constraints and reveal who he was all along?

(question born out of a screenwriters' group discussion, and I realized I can't decide for myself)

I wrote a very small tiny amount of this! Go play this cool game everyone!
I did a video, an 'unboxing' of the new Laundry RPG from Cubicle 7. I was the producer/lead writer on these, and it's cool to see the 'off the tops' fresh from the printer.

Still thinking about 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. I seriously think it’s one of the best new films I’ve seen in a very long time — it grows on you the more you think about it. Really gruesome with the Jimmies, tempered by just utterly beautiful stuff with the Infected storyline of all things

Sounds fantastic
First review of 2026 is live and it's for a good 'un -- an exquisitely esoteric database mystery from @inkle.co.

Shades of Sam Barlow, naturally; I was also reminded of Benjamin Labatut's "nonfiction novels", The Maniac and When We Cease To Understand The World. www.theguardian.com/games/2026/j...

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is astonishingly good — I’m so glad I stuck with the previous after the strange opening, and this has some of the most interesting zombie genre stuff I’ve seen in ages, and the most human performance from Fiennes

Really loved RENTAL FAMILY - such a good big-hearted film without being overly sentimental, which is a mean feat given its subject matter
