Hey #Kidlit #WritingCommmunity if I'm querying a #MG novel that clearly reads as book 1 of a #trilogy is they best thing to say something such as

"Although this novel stands alone, it is first in a trilogy."

Should there be more than that?

Maybe the October 13 event starts the 12th for Showgirl inspo and the 13th for all eras?

I can’t agree more. For so many reasons. Not the least of which they may be more likely to know the actual success of that comp, know who was the editor/publisher, and thus know how and to whom to sub to.
