You can also filter the results to show the most dangerous junctions in Greenwich. We’ll take a look at these soon…
🚦 Why aren't clearly dangerous junctions being fixed faster? Why are some being fixed, and some aren't? And how do we put the pressure on to get them fixed?

Stadium Road/Baker Road – planning application withdrawn (for now)
Due to be discussed on the 18th November, the plans - which decimate a large number of healthy mature trees - were removed from the meeting agenda. For now. We still suggest an alternative – the removal of through traffic to reduce traffic volumes and allow on-road cycling, which could: reduce the need to cut down healthy trees remove the need for a cycle track and still improve the route for people cycling.

Traffic reduction schemes are GO!
It’s been confirmed that the traffic reduction schemes in East and West Greenwich will now be made permanent. The confirmation follows a ‘call-in’ for further scrutiny on the decision to implement the scheme. We think the schemes are a positive change. Councillor Calum O’Byrne Mulligan, Interim Cabinet Member for Climate Action, Sustainability and Transport, said: “Data shows that there are fewer reports of collisions, air quality has either improved – or at least stayed the same overall – and more people are choosing to walk or cycle.

Question to Council
Question from Neil Robertson, Greenwich Cyclists, SE10, to Councillor Calum O’Byrne Mulligan, Cabinet Member for Climate Action, Sustainability and Transport The voice of young people appears to be missing from many decisions in the borough which certainly affect them. Transport is an area where consultation responses from young people are important as they are too young to drive, so have to use alternative means of travel which don’t include cars.

Yes, it's scary for children on our roads. But putting a 20mph limit outside a school does NOT fix the problem. Children need a friendly, safer 20mph limit on their whole route from home to school. It's why 20's Plenty should be community wide.

In Wales, Cornwall, Edinburgh, London and so many places when most 30mph roads were changed to 20mph, people injured or killed by motor vehicles reduced by 20%+. With minimal change to journey times and £2bn saving in insurance costs it's a huge win. bit.ly/4gIBPlJ
