If I had a nickel for every time an anticipated metroidvania that took a long time to come out, released in 2025, then went on to draw the ire of the joyless parts of the internet... I'd have two nickels.

Something I'm genuinely tired of seeing is how far people will reach to call something awful.
I'm all for having higher standards and all... but much of it feels disingenuous lately, at least to me.
Is it so wrong to just enjoy things for what they are sometimes, even if they aren't the greatest?
