For Christians, Christ's kingship has been political from day 1.

Ancient Christians saying "Christ is king" meant that the Roman emperor wasn't king.

Modern Christians instituting and celebrating the Feast of Christ the King were directly opposing ultra-nationalism.

My spouse always seemed healthy as a horse...until the gout (age 29), which was caused by kidney failure, which required a transplant (age 42). And somewhere in his late 30s he was diagnosed with hypothyroid.

Oh man, I remember an art professor, I think? talking about how some painters' styles may have been influenced by their neurology, especially their visual processing. I've never looked at a van Gogh or a Monet the same since.
