Last week, 15 amazing students gathered in Stavanger for a PhD course on energy humanities.

It was an inspiring week during which we visited a wind farm and the students produced this wonderful catalogue filled with personal reflections on encounters with energy in its various ways and meanings.

A fabulous week of energy humanities PhD course is over. We ended with a roundtable on the future of energy humanities followed by the students presenting The Energy Catalogue - a small publication they made during the week. Truly inspiring. Thanks again to @melinabuns.bsky.social for organizing!

We decorated the Greenhouse Christmas tree at our weekly open lunch today. It’s a plastic tree, to signify our deep entanglements with petroculture in the Anthropocene. Also, it was really cheap at the IKEA January sale a few years ago.
