I am adding some artistic embellishment here. Actually if I were to reboot Captain Planet I would have a different planeteer group, and Captain Planet himself probably needs a little design upgrade (although who can say no to that grass mullet?). Did you know the original planeteers are based on IRL activists? There could be something like that with a new group of activists. I was rewatching some episodes and it was interesting how some things aged terribly while other things are just as poignant as it would be today. But the important takeaway is exploding shit and beating up capitalist pigs is fine, actually #environment #art #fanart #ecosystem

It’s really hard to describe to people who are not artists how survival mode does *not* inspire creativity, as the myth would have us believe. It suppresses creativity as you try to limit every possible risk – and the opportunities that come with them.
