Today was once referred to as Armistice Day. It was intended to be a day of remembrance, the perpetuation and celebration of world peace, and an end to all wars. However, the meaning of today has morphed into something entirely different.

In response to the recent actions of gutting essential programs for individuals who, due to a system that prioritizes profit over people's needs, need these programs, we at Graybloom Farm Sanctuary will now provide free food items to anyone in need, with no requirements necessary.

Yesterday was our biggest turnout for volunteers. We can’t thank everyone enough for making the trip out and providing their time to help clean out shelters, water, and food bowls, pick up poop, etc.

Recently, a dog hoarding case involving over 250 dogs that was local to us got some traction. The comments and reactions to this reflected both thankfulness that the dogs were saved from that situation and anger that a human could treat nonhumans in such a way.
