For the past few years, I've been working on an Art Community & Alternate Reality Game (ACARG?) called GRAVITY BREAK. (gravitybreak.media) It's not social media, it is a god damn Web Site. It's a streetpunk game for artists, inspired by Neopets and Battle of the Bits, etc.

glad to be working on gravy train again. still doing folder designer stuff, though. thought i was done with the creator, but i needed to add just one tiny feature (letting you color your folders) that ended up being its own little nightmare. i'll work on the actual folder viewer next.

i am very confused about air riders just rehashing super star's ending, especially when robobot did all this nova fanservice in a smarter way. they even use a musical motif from super star that's a big payoff in the original game but not relevant to this one at all. weird choice.

nova from kirby is such an interesting character because its destruction is always framed as a triumphant moment, but it's never actually clear (aside from robobot) that it's a bad thing. it's not until air riders that we see how it handles granting a nice wish. maybe so we understand that it sucks.
