The pie chart represents what much of America THINKS is the breakdown of the American "political divide"

The graph shows a more accurate representation.
20.5 ineligible to vote and those under 18
34.7 chose not to vote
22.1 voted Democratic Party
22.7 voted republican

What if we didn't have huge displays that could be vandalized and instead had housing and food for people?
November 21, 2025 at 9:22 PM
I personally think all of this is a miracle.

The fact that after 2016, covid, 2020, Jan 6th, reelection, destruction of the federal government and every single insane story every single day since 2016....

I'm very much struggling with what's still holding it all together.

Capitalism? Consumerism?

The mood.

When you boil it down the the most simple of terms imaginable.....

8 billion people don't want to hurt the feelings of 100 billionaires because they think someday they're going to be a billionaire and they don't want someone to "take their hard earned money" when they get theirs.

Imagine if , let's say half, of the people who were screaming about Biden's age or approval were even whispering about these truly horrible numbers.....
Are those number good? Cause they seem bad
November 17, 2025 at 4:59 AM
I guess it doesn't matter.

But, by the time (most) people started to get this jumpy about the state he'd dragged the country into, it was well into his first term. For most it took up until the 2020 election.

This time.... there's still 3+ years left to go. At a minimum.

Compared to a few months.

We're about to witness the VERY LONG and VERY UGLY decent into darkness MANY of us foretold.

We're going to slowly ramp up into DAILY madness which will make January 6th look like a picnic.

There's ZERO chance ANY republican will do the right thing, let alone 13 in the senate AND 4 in the house.
November 16, 2025 at 2:40 AM
A little discussed, but 100% inevitable situation, which has fascinated me since that fateful night in 2016...

What will the leopards and jackals do once their meal ticket is no longer producing?

How does the heir apparent step into the void of this insanity?

Can't think of historical comparisons
November 16, 2025 at 2:07 AM
I just looked up "news for week of November 15th 2005"

Imagine you dropped JUST TODAY'S news into the average American's brain back in 2005?

What's crazy is that week, bush had a record low 37% approval rating and none of the biggest stories were about if he was going to run for a 3rd term.....

I knew the epstein files were going to "backfire" on Democrats.

It's like every over illegal, immoral, dangerous thing he's done and then once there's no consequences everyone moves on and it's normalized.

It's pretty wild to watch a Country twist itself into knots trying to either defend or illustrate the culpability of a president in regards to him being a predator when that Country's OWN JUDICIAL SYSTEM already adjudicated that very fact. Rather convincingly BTW.

In your daily life, how many people would you say you come across who are super stoked at how things are going in the States of America?

Anecdotally, I'd say from my brief interactions to long in-depth discussions, there's almost unanimous acceptance that "things aren't great".
"In 2025, 40% of women aged 15 to 44 say they would move abroad permanently if they had the opportunity. The current figure is four times higher than the 10% who shared this desire in 2014, when it was generally in line with other age and gender groups."
Record Numbers of Younger Women Want to Leave the U.S.
The percentage of younger women in the U.S. who express a desire to migrate permanently has surged in the past decade.

The "tell" was when congressional republicans started saying the epstein files would backfire on Democrats.

They'd seen the evidence and concluded "voters" weren't going to be "swayed" if it ever got released.

This isn't to say it isn't bad and disgusting.

They just know the rubes won't care.

Imagine you're a nation-state. You want to take down the largest superpower. You can't match their military might or wealth. All you have is time and the recent emergence of the information age

Now, imagine everything you'd need to foment to have the superpower take themselves down.

That's America
November 11, 2025 at 4:30 AM
Every city/state which are "good" examples of places where people WANT to live are "Democrat places"

No one can name a republican policy that's helped anyone

Democrats tonight: "Democrats are the worst, I'm out!"

No clue why average Joe Americans voted trump the last three presidential elections.

Humans have always struggled.

We're not built to be content, dare I say "happy".

Unfortunately, we have sort of reached the stage where our know-how, wealth and technology could in theory solve all Americans problems.

We COULD be content.

Almost all of the chaos we're seeing now is manufactured.

As America slides into a literal state of clinical depression and most likely a financial depression, it's terrifying to think of the zombie-like coping mechanisms we are about to see take hold.

I've watched people around me becoming basically shells of themselves trying to "hold on to normalcy".

My personal belief.

America has passed the point where over 50% of the population can be 'persuaded' into believing at least one thing completely untrue that previously they would have known to be definitely untrue if they'd learned it just a few years ago.

If you wonder why this is all happening.

I do not follow @volts.wtf but it's by far the most re-skeeted account across all the accounts I have on my favorites list(the one I actually see each day).

Half the time it's people pointing out how wrong they are and half the time it's people who think it's a valid point......

As seen at the 2025 Velo-city Conference in Gdansk, the Big Bike Orchestra is a Polish pop-folk band formed in 2021 in Bydgoszcz.

Their unique feature is the combination of playing musical instruments while simultaneously riding a specially constructed six-person bicycle.
