In a vacuum, the notion of being a 'science based' philanthropy isn't problematic. Given the context under which this was stripped away, however, this leaves a lot of questions. Not sure why a focus on diversity was considered mutually exclusive with science. Time will tell, I suppose.

A reason this administration is particularly challenging is that there is an assault on science, logic, and decency on multiple fronts. This isn't to say that the answer to everything is contrapuntal to what they are proposing, but I don't think they're interested in thoughtful debate/discussion

Created my first starter pack. I'm a fan of Bay Area sport teams (have been all my life), and Twitter was a way to keep up and discuss the games, players, etc. Here's a starter pack of some reporters, content creators, etc. who've made the jump to BlueSky. (a work in progress)
