I would prefer origins if it weren't for the loading times. I played through FF1 on it, but going into FF2, I had run out of patience. I'm also hardcore into the original NES/Famicom releases of them anyway.

In fact it bothers me that they used the Origins version of the Fighter for that comparison picture because FF1 PR is clearly adapting the original NES sprites

I'm sorry Jon but hard disagree about FF4 on PSP. Along with 1 and 2, I feel like trying to overly detail the sprites loses the charm. It looks uncanny to me.

Dragon Quest 1 HD-2D is utterly fantastic. All the changes feel appropriate and it feels like the game is fully realized as what it was meant to be.
