A little surprising that the predictions here consistently go for low-scoring games.
Of the last 40 matches, Kay has only predicted a team to score 3 goals once. The young boy has done the same, and the algorithm only twice. Interestingly, the 4 random readers have predicted 3+ goals 8 times.

I wonder if the current dip to a 12-month low for UK 5-year gilts will get as much media coverage as the brief spike above 4.5% did at the start of this year.

I love articles like this; not because I necessarily fully understand them, but because of the way somebody has a spark of genius that brings together two different strands of mathematics/physics in order to show something new

But doesn't mention the 4 Qs from other Reform MPs in the same period, for an overall "score" of 10-9

Nowadays I pretty much exclusively read books from my local libraries, so I treat them as if they are a sacred object and am incredibly gentle with them. And then I glance at my own bookshelves and see some of my favourites that look like they've been attacked by a rabid racoon.
The veneration of Books As Objects misses the point entirely. If you're reading a book, turn the corners down, break the spine, spill soup on it. It's your book, go nuts. A pristine, unread book is a tragedy in a way that a beloved, much-read book that looks like the dog's been at it could never be.
