...e può rimanere in atmosfera secoli. L'aumento della concentrazione di CO2 provoca un incremento della temperatura dell'atmosfera, cui si associa un incremento dell'evaporazione e quindi della concentrazione di vapore acqueo. Quest'ultimo contribuisce ad accelerare il riscaldamento.

Prima che si scateni la cavalleria, sappiate che il valore acqueo è un gas serra importante però a differenza della CO2 condensa, ha un ciclo di vita di 24/48 ore e il grosso si distribuisce per lo più nei primi 3000/4000 metri di atmosfera. La CO2 non è condensabile, arriva a 50 km di altezza...1/2
Poi qualcuno si domanda perché ultimamente ci sono così tanti nubifragi.

Senza contare la retroazione positiva che un incremento della concentrazione di vapore acqueo ha sull'effetto serra complessivo.
