Intro:

I’m a Makerspace Librarian at a suburban library in a southern state. My job is to help people make stuff. 💖

I post about books, crafts, social justice, and just about anything else that catches my attention. ✨

I want you to have a library card! 📚
Matching holiday pot holders! 🌲
Wrapping up this table runner!

It's that time of year again, when I like to remind people that the Salvation Army is a conservative Christian organization.

They firmly believe that marriage should only be between het couples and have a history of treating LGBTQ ppl (in their care and employ) poorly.

Please donate elsewhere!
It’s just a little red bug hauling a Christmas tree! ❤️💚
This is a tragedy. I’m so sorry for your loss!
This is an excellent hill to defend! You are 1000% correct. Some of these can be options - if you have students who like reading logs and such - but they should be optional, not required.
That’s very much how I feel about my library degree. I don’t regret going, but I don’t think anyone should for that price.
I’ve seen librarian and educators just as guilty of this as parents. Graphic novels, picture books, difficult subjects, audiobooks; all. Reading. Is. Valid. 👏
Deep cleaned the fan on our laser cutter today. Talk about things they don’t cover in library school! 🤢😂

Me every day in the library RN.
Today I made 75% of the Atlas Zipper Case from Center Street Quilts!
I don’t know you, and I’m just learning about Glenn’s story tonight. But from another dog mom, I’m sorry your family is going through this. Glenn can know that even a stranger a world away was touched by his story.
Yes! I couldn’t get the whole thing in the picture because it’s so massive, but there’s even a piece of paper loaded in it.
Just wrapped up this truly enormous quilt that’s a holiday gift for my mother! ⌨️
Invitation I made for my library’s showing of Die Hard next month!
Just finished Graveyard Shift by M. L. Rio - very very similar vibes (and slightly plot) to What Moves the Dead, but a modern setting. Must read for anyone in academia!
Reading The Night Guest by Hildur Knútsdóttir. It’s a deliciously weird little horror novella.

Library books love taking vacations to people’s houses! It’s totes ok if you don’t read them all. 🥰
Queen! 🙌🏻
Now that I have fewer followers, I can finally admit that sometimes I read the wikipedia plots of books with very large male followings and post controversial and nonsensical takes in the subreddits of those books, just to rile them up 😌
