I took this picture in my wildflower garden this week. It shows a milkweed pod, dried out, and bursting open with silk and seeds ready to be taken by the wind. The background is blurred and dried out goldenrod with areas of yellow, green, and brown. Just to the right of the white silk fibers is a skinny, vertical stem, light brown, and dried out as well.

Image shows the centre of an Alstromeria flower with the Filaments and Anthers which combine to form the Stamen. The Filaments are pink and the Anthers laden with pollen are mainly shades of grey. The Style is piale pink which changes to white in the three pronged Stigma at its tip.Petals from the backdrop and some have grey pollen grains on them. A 15 image stact captured on the OM-1 with the 90mm Macro lens processed in Lightroom and stacked in Helicon focus.

Few things help me #Relax more than a forest. #BlueSkyArtShow

This is a forest scene. The tall, dark maple tree trunks reach out to the sky, their crowns beyond sight out of the frame. Through the trees, light yellowish green leaves from smaller trees and brush is visible along the bottom of the frame. Atop that is the whitish glow from a setting sun. Nearly three quarters of the picture shows the bright green of leaves that haven't yet started turning their autumn colors. And behind all that peeks some patches of blue sky and clouds.
