Ceramic sculpture depicting a silver fork along with four pieces of yellow rigatoni scooped onto the fork, one more piece of rigatoni above the fork and one bow-tie (farfalle) pasta above the fork and to the right of the fork. I believe this pasta sculpture, titled "MACCHERONI", was part of a special exhibit in the museum. The lighting in this photo is not great. I took it with an older iphone. Bronze statue of Queen Liliʻuokalani, located in Honolulu between the Hawaii State Capitol and ʻIolani Palace.
The statue, known as "The Spirit of Liliuokalani", was sculpted by Marianna Pineda in 1980.

A 6-foot bronze statue in the likeness of Queen Liliʻuokalani. A pink plumeria lei is draped over her right wrist. She is holding items symbolic of her reign and legacy, including a copy of the Hawaiian constitution and the song "Aloha ʻOe". In the background you can see roots from a banyan tree. There is a metal fence in front of the tree roots.

This beautiful palace is named after the more than 8,500 diamond shaped blocks of white & pinkish marble, which cover the outer walls.
