No one stops to think how many active military personnel rely on these benefits. And they really shouldn't have to.
Since retiring, one of my main sreas of focus has been on bringing wage inequity to light and working on ways to eliminate it. It will take 2 lifetimes.

Thank you and your HOA for doing that. The 2 biggest food pantries here are asking for cash donations. They can buy what they need in bulk getting it for less. But, I agree. At this point, anything is welcome.

And we know for a fact that many military families rely on SNAP benefits. How about paying people a living wage?

I agree, Susan and repulsive is the right word. I'm having the same issue, where do I focus on helping? Do I spread it out thin or concentrate on one or 2 places that I know?
