Neurology has written to my gp for the third time to tell him I’m a hysterical woman. Advising medication even a quick glance at my records would show was contraindicated.

Just looking at my 2026 events calendar. I'm going to see both Mama Mia and Deep Purple. This encapsulates my split personality perfectly.
So much writing goodness in there too. I want this to be the year I actually complete stuff.
But first, 11 sleeps til Whitby! Here I am eons ago with Sal.

Plans for today derailed by a hideous night's sleep. Now have a small dog attached to me tucked up in bed. A small pootle to our favourite bar may happen, but I need intravenous bacon and coffee before I rise.

Like multiple people all over the land, today I ordered new gym pants in the hope they propel me out the front door and onto the treadmill with new found, new year enthusiasm for exercise.
Yeah.
(Not shiny superhero pants either. Something suitable for a middle aged woman with butt droop).

OH is poorly and has the vomits, and I confess I was well happy that meant I could have the last piece of chocolate log that was technically his.
(I have been to the pharmacy for meds and advice, regularly check his HR, temp, blood oxygen levels & BP, so I'm not completely evil).
