Getting pans with detachable handles was a game changer with respect to this trick.

I normally do that with the roaster when I'm making gravy. Why would it be hot after an hour or two in the oven?

That's the point: two rooms - upstairs and down - not big space but electric only choice.

Currently have aged convection heaters and I want to reduce the running cost.
