It took a record number of farmers declaring bankruptcy to get Trump to release $12 billion in relief to farmers struggling because of Trump’s devastating tariffs on soybeans and other crops. The 181 farmers who filed for bankruptcy in the first six months of 2025 is a 60% increase from last year.
