The only time this situation will de-escalate is when this federal occupying force ends its siege.

They are the escalating factor and, have been this entire time.

Until then, this office will communicate as transparently as possible regarding ongoing investigations.

This Yglesias piece in the NYT is horrifically bad. Almost every "fact" it cites is provably false. At best it is cocktail party banter from a pundit who knows nothing of energy. At worst, it was cut/paste from oil industry talking points. So, a rebuttal: www.nytimes.com/2025/12/18/o...

I was driving my quite elderly mother around this wkd and put on one of my fav songs: Gil Scott-Heron’s “Lady Day and John Coltrane.”

“What’s this about?” she asked

“How greats like Billie Holiday can transport you."

"I saw her, you know," mom said. "At the end."

What I first said in sarcasm I increasingly think is a real thing to consider:

Move SCOTUS to a strip mall in rural Kansas.

We can’t fire them. Impeachment* is functionally dead. The 18-yr term thing is a fantasy.

But we can kill a lot of their perks.
