Any of you still sometimes hanging out on Twitter (I was too), I urge you to stop doing that, cold turkey.

I have kept my account open as I don't want anyone grabbing the name up -- but I am done posting there as of today and I hope you all are too.

On the day marking Trump’s inauguration, highlighting the dangers of billionaire oligarchs like Musk, Bezos, and Zuckerberg, I’m deleting my Twitter account.

I urge others to join me in embracing open, decentralised platforms like Bluesky—a step towards a better future for social media.

I messaged my MP yesterday raising my increasing concern about the unchecked power that social media companies wield.

Please consider doing the same if this is an issue you feel strongly about.

The platforms can easily determine intimate details of its user, as well as influence them. This is an incredibly dangerous combo.
