This article on organizing in the workplace is a worthwhile read. Tech companies are historically anti-union & deliberately advantage themselves thru distributed work teams, labor arbitrage & policing internal channels. There is no space for labor to organize.

My concern with AI is that it's useful but is so subject to abuse at every level (personal, community, enterprise, government). The ideal AI environment is one that's close to you, private, and trusted. None of these conditions exist today.

I don't know about y'all but I'll be glad when the land grabs for data centers full of GPUs consuming all the power & water for LLMs serving GenAI so that spam bots from Israel can infect our social media faster so we can all lose our jobs is over. Like, the hype is unreal. The impact is very real.🤑
