This game tweaked my brain as a kid. My friends, cousins, and I could never remember what the jellybeans did so we always ended up doing the most random and hilarious stuff with the blob. I remember the game being more of a playground for us than anything else! Like the halfpipe in Skate or Die. 😁

My buddy and I would directly connect our PCs with a serial cable in order to play co-op GTA together. It was janky af, and it meant one of us lugging our 90s PC to the other’s house, but I have such wonderful memories!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to discover @bloomsdoodles.bsky.social and buy some art from him. It’s an incredible piece and we know more of Bloom’s art is in our future. So awesome to see his illustrations in games, too. 😊

I recently finished the video game Cloudpunk by Ion Lands on PC. It’s a fun, thoughtful cyberpunk tale of a delivery driver’s first night in Nivalis, a failing & collapsing city that spares no one.

I loved moving through the neon city in my flying car, making deliveries and questionable decisions!

I think the Divination Deck might be the undersung hero of the Cypher campaign. Turn a card for an intrusion idea, an NPC, a creature, an NPC trait, an interesting event, upcoming weather, or just a shot of inspiration? Upgraded to deluxe finish? I can't wait for this thing!

Yeah, absolutely not the same game by any stretch. But I enjoyed the feel of it enough to enjoy the game as a whole.

The built environment was pretty straightforward. But I admit to getting disoriented and turned around in the natural cavern sections, especially the icy parts. 😅

Just curious, did you play Overload? It’s a modern spiritual successor to Descent made by some of the same designers. Worth playing if you haven’t yet and want to experience a modern take on it. I enjoyed it a lot.
