Recently rebuilt my little site and highly recommend. I’m a designer with very basic coding skills but making something myself from scratch where I understand how everything works and have written all the CSS is very satisfying. Doesn’t have to perfect, just keep picking away at it.

The photo wall of healthy grown-up kids was so encouraging! Mine were in there for two months so I sent them a birthday pic for years and did some fundraising. The experience makes you appreciate how incredible the NHS is.

I’m always intrigued by the nature/nuture thing here - I have twins like this raised in exactly the same environment. Upbringing accounts for something but so much of this stuff is hardwired into you.

When I first got glasses, I remember feeling bad about all the UI I had designed that I couldn't really see properly but didn't realise 🙈
