Salutations Gaming enthusiasts! George Marionerd here, guy who has been running a Mario-themed YouTube channel that the algorithm seems determined to ignore for over 5 years.

Still, I think the videos I make are pretty good.

Oh nice. Comforting buggs 🐌🐜🦗🪲🦟🪳🪰🐝🐞🦋🐛
I really enjoyed that game back when it came out. I just wish it had a level creator so I could mess around with the different mini's abilities more and make levels where you use several different kinds at once.
MKW PLEASE. I mean probably not since we just got two big Mario soundtracks, but I'm sure that OST is gigantic.
Sticker Star is really cozy to me because the 3D effect makes me feel like I'm looking through little holes in the side of a box with this perfectly crafted little paper world. The 3D effect is so underrated IMO. It enriched so many game experiences for me.
It would be very weird for a minor to be a balding, extremely capable mechanical & bioengineering genius who starts out interning for evil old lady and goes on to lust after an ancient evil artifact. If he was a child as well as all of these things, I think that the plot would call attention to it.

I'm your master of catastrophe, MC Ballyhoo! 🎤
The modern Paper Marios have such a nice aesthetic
Yeah no he's just short and quirky. I never even considered he might be a child.
I mean he has several fun and flamboyant outfits and his method of incapacitating people is through ridiculous fattening with blorb mushrooms and tremendously high calorie foods, so... Yeah maybe.
Hope there are some simply autumnal designs without Halloween stuff too, since I don't celebrate that but I still love autumn.

I wrote a good thread for appreciating the character writing in Sticker Star. If you want a teaser for my upcoming YouTube video about that game, give it a read!
I mean different people's definition of what's 'interesting' varies wildly I suppose but...
If you'd like to hear more about Paper Mario Sticker Star's positive qualities, subscribe to my channel for my upcoming video about that topic!
Paper Mario Sticker Star is certainly the simplest in the series when it comes to plot and character writing, I'll give you that. But I say that there's a lot more to it than most people care to notice.
And yes, of course, Mizzter Blizzard. He only wanted to live more than a brief, ephemeral existence, but realised that the cycle of the seasons is important, and he shouldn't hold onto this power at other people's expense, even if it's what keeps him alive.
Also I think that the Megasparkle Goomba has a good lesson against meaningless mob mentality when someone who seems powerful promises great things for his followers, but just wants to use people to further his own interest. The other Goombas realised he was a madman in time.
Of course he makes himself out to be the hero of the encounters and doesn't mention Mario's help at all. I find it hilarious that there's a Mario game where you can choose to either murder these guys or buy them ice cream lol
The guy who keeps getting mugged wherever he goes is a very interesting and funny case. I love that you have the option to fight or pay the assailants off, and what he writes in the postcards to his mate who's house sitting for him changes depending on which you choose!
Speaking of Kersti, Kersti! She is far from the most interesting partner, but the hate for her is way overblown. She's basically just Starlow again, but a bit meaner, which I think is funny. She gives good roasts.
Wiggler is an adorable big kid, and even though she finds chasing the segments annoying, Kersti is still talks to his in a calm and understanding tone. I feel very motivated to help him get back together in that chapter. His diary entries are so cute!
That poor guy who inherited his bosses mansion only for his boss to come back to life and he's suddenly his butler again??? Was there a resurrection clause in his contract lmao??? Love that plotline.
I find Kamek a funny and interesting villain, I love his banter with Kersti, and he creates some creative obstacles for the player, tearing Wiggler apart was a first taste of the creative body horror that I ended up loving in Origami King.
