SaaS was a mistake and I'm a full metal capitalist! ;) If it was cheaper it'd be easier to justify. If you're a pro, it's fine and you can even write it off as an expense. If you're just fucking around and want the tools and don't use it daily you get raked over the coals.

Oh that sucks. Didn't know it was going away. I also want Illustrator so basically I have to get the all apps plan at $60/month for Photoshop which I use medium, and Illustrator which I may not touch for months. Scam.

The monthly subs can well and truly get fucked. They are 2x as pricey as they should be and pretty terrible pricing, roping you into yearly commitment, or you can pay 40% more. Very shitty practices.

That's 100% nonsense and absolutely not true. Don't trust ppl saying dumb things on the internet. I remember this from a few years ago and it was laughable then. He trademarked the Inktober brand so you can't use it as a mark or title, but you 100% own the work. Honestly...
