I just had a read through the budget to search for changes in VED for cars and there is no change regarding the 40 year rolling exemption for classic vehicles.
A lot of debate and consequent division was sparked by a rumour by an MP and some Youtubers seized on it.
Shame on you!

Have you used this sealant after you install your windscreens? This is for classics with the rubber seal, not the bondes ones. It seals, but doesnt glue in like silicone.
I've seen a few cars with this grey putty between the rubber and bodywork and also on the glass insert.

The thermostat on the Focus is stuck open and only lukewarm air comes into the cabin, while the temp gauge needle at the bottom, even after my 25 mile commute. So, I am doing this as a temporary solution until I replace the thermostat. It'll be weeks until i find the time to do it

Windscreen only temporarily on until next spring when I get it off again to rub down and paint the frame. Then, a brand new rubber seal will go in. Until then, it'll be off the road

Windscreen frame done and epoxy primed. Once the car is back at home, the windscreen will be temporarily fitted to the car to keep it watertight and for the next few weeks I'll clean up and derust the floors for another session of welding, hopefully earlier next year.#bmw

E12 has been taken today to the welders to do work on the windscreen frame. Hope to have it ready soon and finally put the new windscreen back on!

What a small world! Whilst sitting in traffic, I looked in mirror and saw a familiar car, the high miles Volvo S80! It was right behind me and driven by MoneyPitMatt from youtube, who recently took the car from AutoAlex and drove it back to the UK. Turns out, Matt and I live in the same village!

What a small world! Whilst sitting in traffic, I looked in mirror and saw a familiar car, the high miles Volvo S80! It was right behind me and driven by MoneyPitMatt from youtube, who recently took the car from AutoAlex and drove it back to the UK. Turns out, Matt and I live in the same village!
Cleaned up some idle control components and now the engine runs, but hunts revs on idle. However, it runs well I accelerate and drive it.
Also, removed the driver side carper and found a massive puddle, a lot of surface rust and after poking with a screwdriver, a hole on the corner 1/2

Here is a car not many of my followers know I had. A 1996 MGF, Japanese import with aircon and over 10 owners!
The car was imported back to the UK in 1999 and passed many hands until it ended up with a colleague of mine who used it and ran it to the ground. 1/3

Getting things fixed on my Focus and the cluster is finally fixed. This time I chose the capable hands of Laurence Lagden from L.L. Focus Colour Conversions. It's not just a matter of soldering, but making sure the job is done properly and there are no other issues. #ford

A rarity spotted in Portugal today, a Ford Festiva, which is basically a Mazda 121? Never sold in Portugal, so imported by someone who moved to Portugal and took their car with them. Not my photo

Our daughter is growing up fast and her orange BMW baby racer is getting a bit small for her, so this is her upgrade, a electric Fiat 500. Easy to assemble, looks adorable and it's ready for her birthday in a few weeks time. I'm sure she'll love it!
