Media says Zohran Mamdani won 1/3rd of Jewish voters, implying failure with us.

That number counts Orthodox Republican voters that would almost never vote for a Democrat unless GOP supported like Adams/Cuomo.

He did quite well & even better if you factor the smear machine 💰

You'll think: "Wikipedia is huge. Surely this can't be the BEST wiki page ever."

Friends, frenemies, genAI impostor lurkers (i.e. enemies): You'd be wrong. So very wrong.

You definitely need to see this @alexisthenedd.bsky.social
At first you're like, why does this have a wiki page

Then you find out it might be the best wiki page ever

In contrast, Hotel Barcelona (the Swery/Suda collaboration) recently took all generative AI elements out of the game as the headline for a big patch that included additional quality of life additions and fixes.

Hope exists for this shit, too.
The article is well worth a read; this information would never have come to light were it not for Steam's AI disclosure policy, and the game looks to be a rushed cash grab not involving Grasshopper studio.

This is why CEOs dont like AI disclosures, they want to be able to discreetly serve slop
The Let it Die sequel - Let it Die: Inferno - which is coming out next week (4th December), seems to have been built using a considerable amount of generative AI. https://bit.ly/4ol7lIA

I usually shut down YouTube chat but I have it open tonight during TAB show for whatever reason. All the people complaining about WGTYM are giving me LIFE.

Also it's cool to hear Dezron live inside the pocket of a Phish tune when Mike is always out there just manifesting pockets (complimentary)

The original Let It Die was famous for its absolutely amazing soundtrack. Akira Yamaoka went and got in touch with a HUNDRED of his favourite indie bands and commissioned each to do a track named 'let it die'. The result was borderline mystical.

They're AI-generating the music here.

Fuck that.

Was this ever a secret? (I know MSM is still catching up.)

Weiss, Shapiro, all of these bad faith "they're only facts when I agree" dopes have *always* been the schmuckiest dullards. They're the Gamergate Future Class: Lots of nonsensical and DUMB noise driven by a comically obvious agenda
“.. It’s worth watching the four-minute clip mainly for one reason: .. It is, without a doubt, one of the single goofiest things about the media that I have ever encountered.”

I really hate how Call Of Duty just sucks the oxygen out of the room. So, the campaign in the annual corporate franchise sucks this year? There's been more words written about that than probably EVERY OTHER FPS RELEASED THIS YEAR COMBINED.

And there have been so goddamn many, and so many great ones

Infinity Blade was one of the biggest games on the planet for half a decade and also one of the few mobile hits that feels genuinely native to the platform.

Anyway, good luck playing this hugely influential game in 2025!

I avoid discourse spaces around the difficulty question for exactly this reason. Some people are fanatical in the belief that games are more satisfying when "git gud" is the *only* way to master challenging mechanics.

And I think that's a wrongheaded, insufferable attitude rooted in gatekeeping.
Fromsoft players are like... damaged. Speaking as someone who loves the games, the community is insufferable in their attitude that the game has a "right" way to be played. (Probably born from the "Its so hard!" circle jerk early coverage/marketing of DS1 spawned)

This is the way: Fewer lair weirdos, more lair sickos
For too long, lairs have been appropriated by the worst fucking people and now the lairmaxxing lifestyle is tainted by the association.

We need to reclaim lairs, nests, burrows, hideyholes, haunts, and hermitages from those weirdos.

The additional context is that Valve is still killing a beloved games studio, still tried to weasel out of making a press statement, still didn't allow a second review, and still did not communicate with the developer beyond vague references to their terms.
