My blog post on the PATHWAYS puberty blocker trial:

"Ten million pounds and two hundred childhoods, spent not to discover whether puberty blockers “work”, but to postpone the moment when the NHS finally has to admit they never did and never could."

The "ultimate source" of the funds came from "a close friend of Vladimir Putin," said Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb.

The vindictive pursuit and vilification of Cadwalladr whilst she dug away revealing all sorts of dodgy dealings around Brexit kind of tells us a lot more than we realise. Powerful forces pull strings to silence truth and truth-seekers. The Russia report is just one more dirty little secret miasma.

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

In honor of Larry Summers, I asked the female members of my college class (1987) to say if they had any experiences with sexual harassment by teachers/professors, back when this was tolerated as, I dunno, the cost of attending college, and OH MY GOD.

Incentives should be linked to skills our country needs and finding employment doing it.

Those skills are not necessarily ‘high earning’. I’m fed up with a persons value being linked to how much they earn, it’s demonstrable bollocks.

I agree with the call to policy makers.

However, this trend also supports the theory that psychiatry has massively overreached in recent decades, by pathologising the subjective experience of poverty.

Being unhappy with failure to meet your basic needs, for want of funds, is not a disorder.
“Policymakers looking to increase employment for those in the run-up to state pension age should take account of the headwind from worsening mental health for poor women.”

Many of these women will become poorly off and unwell pensioners. Commentators tend to lump all older people together as privileged and also a drain on health resources. But there are huge differences between health and wealth between the sexes with women coming off worst.
NEW: Depressive symptoms have risen among women in their late 50s and early 60s, particularly among the least wealthy women.

LLMs give people with delusional belief systems a way to organise those beliefs. The model fills in gaps, supplies connective tissue, and wraps the madness in formal language.
It doesn't make the claims more credible to us, it just tidies them up.
