I honestly dunno where you get that energy, I sit here terrified of what I see on the news concerning our rights and would rather not talk or post bout it... but I guess someone has to do it. So I thank ye.

nor is it enough for me to think badly of them unless said Vtuber also shares troubling viewpoints. In that sense, I feel my reaction is mores subdued.

At the very least I feel somewhat indirectly pressured to be more of an activist...

tho I keep myself informed on things I have little to comment on; especially since too often I myself am scared of what goes on. In other cases, especially regarding "such and such Vtuber streamed controversial game we shall not talk about" my reaction is one of disappointment but nothing more(cont)

I feel im very transparent about my stances on things, i'm NonBinary and Neurodivergent and I make sure that my community is welcoming to many people that both belong to marginalized groups and are also not a bigot towards them.

That said I do still feel genuine guilt as (cont)

I dunno bout others, but im a bit exhausted. I take breaks from here not just cause im busy trying to get everything up and running again, but also cause a lot seems to happen every other week; be it Vtubing or otherwise, and for some time it will be all that I see on my timeline. (cont)

So update, I have a specific date in mind for when i'll be able to return to streaming. I don't wish to confirm just yet as there's a couple of factors to consider and im spread thin a bit (got some client work I gotta do). At minimum, wish to be back before October to do things with friends.

problem with making any hyperbolic statement abt video games as a medium is that I assume for every game that scrapes by into the western canon there's like 50 untranslated taiwan-only DOS RPGs that have been running since 1989 that are probably just as good as Chrono Trigger that I'll never play

Please check with others if its a good idea, but on my end two different things help; Baking Soda with Water (1/4 teaspoon of baking soda) can help neutralize stomach acids. Furthermore if you are in pain in general and are trying to relax, I find lying with a pillow under my belly helps!

Progress on the Live2D model! Most othe actual mesh is complete, rn in the process of texturing and shading and then of course... gotta rig it. Really impressed by how quickly I put this together not gonna lie!~

Very recent discovery I made thanks to aviation hyper-fixations; most of the aircrafts used by GUN in Sonic Adventure 2 are apparently based on Soviet-era aircraft; the helicopter in the Opening being a Mil Mi-24, and the Blue Eagles on the Sukhoi Su-34!

Make no mistake, planes should still be used; but it'd be good if their usage could be more strategic. Aside from long range travel, their resources could def be used for remote communities or parts which are not as easily accessible. But ug an aircraft on a 30 min route over land is bit wasteful.

need to get on a plane for a less than 1 hour flight between Sydney and Melbourne. Especially nowadays with Qantas having a HUGE monopoly over air travel and having high prices, but in the current landscape... the cost of interstate travel is around the same for some reason...

Speaking at the very least from Australia, on one hand... we are a big country and thus planes make sense. On the other, if train infrastructure could be improved to increase frequency, high speed rail could be introduced and made affordable; most people wouldn't even (1/?)
