The WH has released the „Peace Deal“ from October 13. The document reads like a lofty manifesto for peace, but it contains no realistic steps, concrete commitments, or enforcement mechanisms. It is therefore more symbolic or rhetorical. A bid to generate political prestige. Not a real “peace treaty“

Let‘s get something straight that Trump, Israel and others don‘t tell you:

Hamas can’t make real peace: their 1988 charter rejects Israel, demands armed struggle, and forbids recognition. Temporary truces 5-10 years) are possible, but permanent peace is blocked by their ideology. Fact.

Wondering how much else is in there for the rest of the Trumps. Hotels, Casinos, Golf Resorts…and what not.

Israel could have just stopped the war at any time. Right? But they did not. Now they celebrate a ‘peace deal’ brokered by Trump. For Israel, it’s about optics, diplomacy, and political leverage. For Trump, it’s reputation, influence and big money. Gaza sees little immediate relief.

None of the warring parties attended the peace summit or signed the so-called ‘peace treaty.’ Which means the “agreement” cannot compel Israel or Hamas to do anything, because neither formally consented. Right?

Here‘s a statement from Hamas, October 13, 2025.

It says „….that the Palestinian people will not rest until the last prisoner is freed from the occupation’s prisons and until its presence is removed from the land of Palestine and its holy sites.“

Maybe they mean peaceful protests. 🙄

Trump’s statement misrepresents scale and fact. It exaggerates a local ceasefire as if it were a middle-east region-wide, millennia-long peace achievement.

Israel-Hamas conflict spans less than 100 years.

Trump’s “Peace Agreement” is a temporary ceasefire. Far less than what he’s trying to sell the world. With neither Israel nor Hamas signing, what’s it really worth? Political theater. Why? Because Hamas can’t make peace with its ideological enemy; it’s forbidden by their charter.
