Jenrick saying that football in 80s was good natured fun. Fucking hell.

Fans were caged like animals behind fences and generally viewed by politicians and press as scum. His own party wanted to introduce ID cards to go to a game. They also wanted to ban fans from going abroad.

I'd rather they didn't but I can understand them using mics if they're doing six evenings and two matinees in some of the larger houses.

The line readings are as big a problem, but I partly blame directors for that.
