JUST IN: Evacuation Warnings have been issued in Los Angeles County in California for ALL burn scar areas ahead of the incoming storm system which could bring dangerous flooding and significant debris flows around the burn scars.
If you live around the burn scars of Los Angeles County, officials are encouraging you to evacuate.
Isolated tornadoes are also possible across Los Angeles and Orange Counties tomorrow.

Comic from my weekly series, Chamomile. Detailed Description Follows:

Chamomile looks a little dejected and says "Ugh, this isn't working, let's try using their actual names again..." She continues to walk around the park with the puppy she's found, yelling "Dennis? Dennisssss? DENNISSSSSSSSSS!? Wow, yelling an elongated "S" sound is hard. Considering I have no idea who I found already I should try the other name too. Phantom? Phantom!?" "Phanny my darling baby boy!" She then says quietly: "...Or girl, never did work that out..." She then returns to yelling, now clenching her fists and screaming to the sky, "Phanny!? Phanny!? Where oh where is my precious Phanny!?" A man in a cap passing by points downwards in Chamomile's direction and with a big grin says "Probably under the bush between your legs, luv." Chamomile looks confused, saying "Huh?" before quickly looking extremely disgruntled, yelling "Oh! Ha ha! Very funny! Bugger off if you just wanna make rude jokes!" The man lowers the brim of his cap and looks disappointed as he skulks away, saying under his breath "I don't know, you try to be helpful..." Chamomile stares him down defiantly with her hands on her hips. Between her legs, hiding under a nearby bush, is the second puppy. End of comic.

Can you put into words what that purpose is? You and the frog have really become icons of this protest.

There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day.

What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid.

It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. When they try to describe this situation as “war-torn,” it becomes much harder to take them seriously when they have to post a video saying [U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security] Kristi Noem is up on the balcony staring over the Antifa Army and it’s, like, eight journalists and five protesters and one of them is in a chicken suit.
