Finished this today. The prose was phenomenal, if a little denser than I'd usually prefer. I feel like this is one I'd have to go back and re-read before I fully understand it, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Bleak and depressing as fuck though. I need to read something lighthearted now

And the ones doing the interrupting are usually the least informed and least affected by whatever topic they're screaming about. It usually means they're the most well-paid on the panel too

I can't watch clips from any UK news debate without getting anxious and pissed off. It's just one person attempting to make a reasonable, informed point and between one and three braying jackals barking over them and interrupting every other word

I feel like the YouTube sponsorships might be part of a massive astroturfing campaign. They appear on predominantly left-leaning channels, advertising a service that exposes the audience to more right-leaning propaganda and explicitly says that's a good thing.
