Forcing cold hand dryers on brits while corporations eat more electricity than an arc furnace is quite a fucking swindle

Spent far too long coaxing my Alesis e-drums kit to work with YARG only to realise a rhythm game is a horrible and unnecessarily complicated alternative to just jamming along to a song.

Anyone got code for getting detailed system stats out of Windows - CPU temps, fan speeds etc - and into a REST API or Python for UART comms?

In the most ADHD morning ever the air fryer was on, both drawers, one side burning a pastry to a crisp and the other side empty. The oven was also on, but with no temperature set it was sat doing nothing instead of preheating for a loaf.

It’s a wonder we get anything done.

Just cut myself while slicing sourdough…

… on the bread 🤣

It was the dark, crusty loaf I’d kinda shelved but, upon slicing, the inside is gloriously perfect and it’s one of the closest to authentic tasting loaves yet.

After the overcomplicated disk setup, I now have an overcomplicated display!

(I don't have the "raw" breakout for this one)

I tweaked the waveform I use to drive the 8-bit parallel ILI9341 LCD. Now it's gone from fast to absurdly fast. The 320x240 GIF is playing at 220FPS.

Question: how many Raspberry Pis can you see? Answer: none. But, there is a Zero in the train, streaming driver’s eye video over the WiFi, and a Pico hidden under the signal box flashing the crossing lights.

People rightfully ask why we’re baking four sourdough loaves a day and I’m not sure if ADHD or just really got into a rhythm with the starters and don’t want to interrupt it

Valve still banging that "low-end PC pricing" drum so I'm wondering if I should raise my already pessimistic (or pragmatic?) price prediction to $699 USD entry level, and $759 with a controller.

$799 / $859 with a 2TB SSD.

Though GLHF with these RAM prices 💀

Nothing turns my stomach more than falling upon a repository where some unhinged loon has AI'd their way into fixing every open issue in a significant project without any kind of introspection or discussion with the actual users. Commits with a dozen different issues fixed. Seriously, fuck you.
