If you want to criticize Maria Corina Machado and her allyship with Trump, by all means, go for it. There's several Venezuelans, including myself, doing the same. I hope your criticism towards her doesn't deny the fact that Venezuela IS a dictatorship where democracy and freedom died a long time ago

Why would Bluesky silence a survivor of genocide a girl whose only crime was trying to save her paralyzed father, a man broken by war and a stroke?
She asked for help, not pity. She wanted a chance to study, to live and they erased her voice.

Her dad is sick and needs your help

suffered an ischemic stroke that caused severe dizziness and difficulty moving. After several days in the hospital, needs continuous treatment and daily medications such as Betaloc, Aspirin, and Atorvastatin, along with regular check-ups and follow-ups.

Everyone seems to understand the concept of "believe the victims," except when it comes to Venezuelans.

Not only is it socially acceptable to believe our abusers, but people will go out of their way to cover their crimes against us and even to justify them.

I'm pretty sure that's no excuse to use the National Guard to kill your own citizens, or to build torture centers for political opponents, or to help the army run sectors of the country like a mafia.
