But the report also highlights inequalities in life expectancy, our health and a decline in participation in sports, culture and arts. While we are making some progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, we continue to lose species and habitats.

Positively the report shows how our levels of qualifications are rising, more young people are in education, employment or training. More people are volunteering and we have met our national milestone of 30%.

Protecting people now and those born tomorrow, means acting with urgency on the climate and nature emergencies, building long-term solutions that keep people healthier, enhancing our culture and Welsh language, with a well-being economy that works for people and our planet and actively reduces harm.
