Mom's cat hasn't eaten in 2 days. She is worried but doesn't want to take him to the vet cause "What's a vet gonna do, look at him and shrug?" I try to tell her that vets know more about cats than me or her but I can't really engage because she used to say that to avoid taking me to the doc.

First thing this morning I went into the kitchen where my husband had made muffins and bacon and coffee and tried to flash him my tits, appreciatively.
I didnt realize my phone was in the kangaroo pocket of my hoodie and smacked myself in the nose with it.
Now I have a headache.

First thing this morning I went into the kitchen where my husband had made muffins and bacon and coffee and tried to flash him my tits, appreciatively.

My mother in law dropped off a 19lb turkey on Saturday. To two people who dont really do Thanksgiving nor do we particularly like turkey. Its still quite frozen. We will roast it when it becomes available I guess.

The other day I was on a rant to a coworker about the Snap fiasco last month, and I said i thought we should have UBI and nobody should be hungry or unhoused and like "there's plenty of empty properties in this rich ass country" and she countered with "there's plenty of jobs, too!"

I'm gobsmacked by how dumb people can be. How dumb they are still becoming. I've seen some awesome SM comments that just make me sad for the commenter. 'If he really was a king he'd just keep the government open!' Why? The government being dismantled was always the plan!

I think I am finally done telling folks about my boss' death. Everyone she used to chat with at work, people who have quit and moved on before she got sick, etc.
It should not have been my responsibility, but I'm one of those people who sees a task and does it. Mostly.

I have this coworker that I don't much like. She said last night that she thought covid was a hoax. Because she never got it. Which probably had to do with her BEING VACCINATED. I told her I thought she was very lucky. That I had it once and I'd take any jab to not get it again.
Also she is lazy.
