I don't know why people are so concerned about the ethics, while at the same time people who try to protect themselves by masking are bullied for having health anxiety.

It would be good to have more challenge studies, because people no longer care whether they catch Covid or not. And they provide the best way of knowing when people are infected.

One person argues that everyone should be able to see each other faces. No, you can choose to ignore the scientific evidence, but I am not going to take off my mask to please your desire to see my face (and get sick afterwards).

The whole conversation shows the problem: The decline is too slow for people to observe it (boiling frog analogy). And if problems are visible, they label it incorrectly, for example by calling it burn-out and mental illness. nltimes.nl/2025/10/13/b...

I am not sure whether it is safe to say that the area under the wastewater curve is decreasing in size. Infections are more spread out, because people are on different trajectories of vaccinations and infections.

I forgot: Public transportation and public buildings, like where you have to get a new passport or have to go and vote. I would love to go to a library, but it is not essential. I can read the stuff that's on the internet.

I don't need other people to mask everywhere. They just need to mask indoors in places that I cannot avoid. That is: workplaces (unless they want to pay my bills and my groceries), healthcare facilities and supermarkets (unless they want to bring the food to my door).
