The Govt wants to scrap trial by juries for all but the most serious offences. Juries have been in place since the Magna Carta, they bring fairness to the courtrooms & protect them from prejudice. Even senior lawyers and MPs are sounding the alarm – this would be a terrible move.https://38d.gs/n1wi
