Terrible things are happening outside. At any time of night and day, poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, Women, and Children are separated.

so we rose up, and we organized, and we let them see what love can do. no national guard in chicago - that’s people power, not luck.
and so we will rise up, and we will organize, and we shall let them see what love can do
Do you hear the people sing?
And we still don’t back down to bullies
In case I have not made myself clear: fascism is dangerous. Scapegoating is dangerous. Marginalization is dangerous.

I’m not inclined to let history repeat itself.

We must stand up and protect everyone - everyone. And, of course, we must do it now.
If we want to heal this world, we need to go in order. I’m feeling like the first question might end up being “how do we create connection,” and our first action steps should be following through on the answers 💭
So, either you’ve stumbled upon me or I’ve stumbled upon you - welcome to my social media account.

Knock off your shoes, make yourself at home. We’ve gotta buckle in for a long journey, and I’m working extra to get us on the right track.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

It is absolutely critical that as we move forward, we leave nobody behind.

Unity is our only viable path forward.
We are in a transformative time in American history, and we’ve gotta get fully onboard if we want it to be fruitful. We are only in the beginning - there is so much building to do.

I’m making a commitment to contribute to #politics in a way that I think will best benefit your feed. I won’t ever upload content with the purpose of making you angry without trying to inspire hope - I want to live with love and invite you to follow.
Here’s the deal: building an America where nobody is left behind means that we can’t leave *anyone* behind.
History has always been on a pendulum between tyranny and freedom. We have no control over today, all we can do is speed up this low and create a more free world tomorrow. Let's not focus on resisting, let's focus on rebuilding.
Go volunteer. Go to a shelter, a food pantry, a library - whatever it takes. The world won’t change unless you change it - if we all expect someone else to do the work, nobody ever will.
Stop saying that we need “mutual aid.” There are thousands of nonprofits out there right now that work tirelessly together to serve their communities - they are doing the work that the internet is dreaming of. The networks are already in place.
Welp, here’s the deal. Tomorrow, the sun will rise. And the next day. And the next day. Make it matter - change the world.
