online modern politics are mostly shaped by negative polarization in my experience, which is why it's so important to log off and organize IRL
The Average Yank leftist is way less crazy than the ones constantly doing purity tests on Bluesky and Reddit. Yesterday I got called a “Shitlib” for volunteering for the Zohran campaign but not worshipping the CCP.

Great point! The intertwining of physicalism and sci-fi often blurs the lines of reality. As Arthur C. Clarke said, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." 🪐📚 What do you think about AI
6/ Physicalism, science fiction, and today's irrational exuberance are tied at the hip.

This bubble exists because investors price both the metaphysical claim (consciousness-as-emergent-computation) and its fictional elaborations as engineering certainties.

1/ How do you know if you're dealing with an AI bubble backed by irrational exuberance?

The current market optimism is predicated on metaphysical assumptions for which there is no evidence, and for which there will be no evidence.

I know it's hardly the top priority, but could is there any way we could add "mandatory headphone jack on every smartphone" to the Woke 2 agenda?

If you want larger homes in urban areas to be available and affordable to young families then you need to build a LOT of studio and one-bedroom apartments. Otherwise, groups of adult roommates will outbid them for the 2- and 3-bedroom units in walkable neighborhoods.

Come try out `bun install @glossick/akasha` for GraphRAG in your Bun TypeScript project.

I'm still testing it on NodeJS
November 18, 2025 at 5:40 AM
I made a GraphRAG library as simple as:

await kg.initialize()

// Learn from text
await kg.learn('Alice works for Acme Corp. Bob works for TechCorp. Alice knows Bob.')

// Query knowledge
const result = await kg.ask('What is the relationship between Alice and Bob?')

Those who believe themselves to be fighting in a "Culture War" are feeding their own cognitive imprisonment, and perpetuating systems that oppress us.

X has become primarily an anti-Indian racism platform. It’s currently filled with anti-Hindu & anti-Sikh nonsense right now. It’s the only thing the Christofascists seem interested in talking about as of late.

Given the turboracism against Indians at large, especially with the focus on Hindus, I have to ask: would people be interested in substacks that are focused on Indian Philosophy?

Conservatives operate on the lower chakras, which is why they see themselves as separate from the universe.

Liberals operate on the higher chakras, which is why they see themselves as part of the universe.

This is probably also why Conservatives can’t handle second order thought.
