A black and white ink illustration of a scowling early 19th century housekeeper holding a lamp stood within an open gothic arch doorway. The doors are elaborately carved with natural motifs such as the Green Man. The stone above has carvings of wolves. An illustration of two lesbian ghosts dancing. The left hand ghost wears a 1760s silk sack gown, the right hand wears an early 1500s style gown with puffed sleeves and a short cape with feathered beret. They are both blue and translucent. They are in a heavily wooded and overgrown graveyard, a lone candle burning with a blue flame sits on top of a slab grave beneath them. The illustrated border shows as follows: On top, clasping carved stone hands emerging from yew branches with berries. To the sides: tin lanterns with candles burning, carved stone hourglasses & carved stone broken columns. Beneath: Vaults based upon the Circle of Lebanon at Highgate Cemetery flanked by trees. An intimate scene at a party in 17th century France. Two vampire women gaze at each other, holding hands at a card table. They are radiant in pink, drops of blood on their lace. Around them other party goers in purple-blue, wearing half-masks, oblivious to the true nature of the women. Behind an intricate decorated mantlepiece in warm pale gold. A square sticker of a silvery-blue medieval inspired unicorn curled up asleep. It's on a gold matte shine background with a red border decorated with curved white lines and dots. It rests on a backdrop of a Richard Dadd painting of fairies.

And some rarely seen but still much loved (by me) black and white pieces. Chapter headers, a temporary tattoo design, and an interior full page illustration.

A chapter header from A Mourning Coat. A drawing of various sewing notions in ink lines and digital washes of grey- a pincushion, scissors shaped like a cassowary, a measuring tape, buttons and various spools of thread.

A chapter header from North Continent Ribbon. An ink drawing of a thick tome with an ornate 8-pointed star on the cover, an elaborate lock, and a long ribbon bookmark
ALT

A drawing, in ink, of a snake curling over a rectangular shape filled with a drawing of a hemlock plant. Where the snake overlaps the rectangle, it is scaled, where the snake is outside the rectangle, it is skeletal.
ALT

From Neon Hemlock's Unfettered Hexes: Queer Tales of Insatiable Darkness. A gouache and ink painting depicting a lonesome little house on an expansive prairie. Wind blows the grass and the very sky seems like it's pressing in on the structure. Light glows from one window.

In honor of Edgar Allan Poe's 176th deathday, here are a few of my recent pieces inspired by Poe's works 🫀
Illustration by Abigail Larson depicting a scene from Edgar Allan Poe's poem "Annabel Lee". Two lovers embrace at the edge of the sea, water splashes around them and the surrounding rocks. A full moon shines over them, and storm clouds loom.

Tomorrow is the big day for Jester & Fjord!

Are you all ready to celebrate the wedding in perfect Mighty Nein style? I’m sure nothing will go wrong at all 😂

A reinterpretation of Leighton’s “Call to Arms”, dedicated to the bride & groom💙✨
#criticalrole #criticalrolefanart @criticalrole.bsky.social
An illustration re-interpreting the painting “Call to Arms” by Leighton. Jester and Fjord are leaving an elegant building after getting married, followed by Caleb, Essek, Beau, Yasha, Caduceus and Veth, as Kingsley stops them on the steps, seemingly telling them about something important and pointing to the side.
He’s asking them to join on a new adventure or maybe fight an incoming danger.
All of the Mighty Nein are dressed in very fancy clothing, Jester has a beautiful white gown with pink embroidery. Every’s face is either shocked or excited.

In the background, we see various buildings, one showing the “Lavish Chateau” sign.
Many NPC, guest characters and easter eggs are hidden in the image.
