Members of the Unpresidented Brass Band were bull rushed & brutalized in the middle of playing "Ghostbusters." One was sent to the hospital and another tackled, arrested, and taken across state lines where she is still being detained.

We will be going to Clark county jail tonight to support our band member and the others who are being held there after arrest yesterday.
Taking us citizens out of state to detain them without charge is a new action from the Feds and should be opposed. There will be music 🙂🎺

-devs are only getting shittier about this. refuse to remove blatant and dangerous transphobes, while suspending the creator of a bot that simply notifies the public of dev accounts’ activity, for no viable reason either publicly or when appealed thru email.

-link is permanently suspended from the bsky relay (that’s the feed you and I pull from) but still has his account because he migrated to blacksky, a service using ATproto, that federates with bsky.

-bsky has really crap PR and transparency
-big name influencers get suspended for weird shit like just wishing a transphobe ill, and replying to the devs in ways they don’t like
-link is apparently someone who was pretty key in bsky getting known to be safer than other networks

These protests have gone on months, but evolved slowly. Warnings from experienced folks are to prepare for things to escalate and get more dangerous but are mostly being ignored. People are focused only on fun and dancing. That stuff's cool, but the lack of opsec or community defense is concerning.
