I have a huge RPG collection. All these books are filled with art that most people will never see. So, I decided I’m going to build a kind of archive. Scan it all in and post it out there for people to see.

I’ll be posting 4 pictures a day. Hopefully you’ll see something you like.

This reminded me a LOT of The Traitor God by Cameron Johnston. Decent, but not great characters, lots of magic and action, cool ideas, intrigue, all takes place in one city, lots of people dying, super powerful monsters/gods. Would love to read more like this but with more memorable characters.

I’m assuming the one with the “help” sign is some variation on the “fall forever” trap, something to do with gravity reversing magic.

As a huge fan of Alan Moore I'd say this is for completist only. It could easily be read in 15 minutes, but that would mean you would miss the amazing artwork. Juan José Ryp has a way of beautifully portraying the ugliness, dirtiness, grossness of the world, that I haven't seen in any other artist. He's like an elegant Crumb. Each page is to be studied and "absorbed". This isn't like other Alan Moore books where there are hidden messages hidden in the background everywhere, though there are a few, it's just raw. As far as the writing, about 80% of it made no sense to me, but some of it was beautiful.

I love the idea of someone being flung up into a ceiling of spikes. It’s so much cooler than falling into a pit of spikes.

Everything about Al-Qadim is huuugggge. I like that it’s not gritty or “normal”. That fairy-tale style is perfect for D&D.

Really cool to see the X-men have to work with themselves from another dimension. The Ice Man jokes and Jean Grey reading the minds of young men were hilarious. The 2 Jean Greys working together was touching at times.

I often wonder, are there modules/adventures out that no one ever played, other than maybe play testers? I’ve actually never met anyone who has run an Al-Qadim campaign.

This was amazing!!! I read the first graphic novel many years ago and loved it, but for some reason didn't continue reading when more came out. The show was a totally different plot (though maybe matched later issues).

Really hoping a season 2 happens.

Looking at these Waller really looks more like a comic book artist. Which is fine because it looks more dynamic/action-packed.

This duology was definitely not as good as the original trilogy. There was no "main villain" until the last fourth of the book and then he wasn't interesting at all. There wasn't really any magic. The "little people can save the world" trope was used again, there just wasn't a whole lot to like here other than Samwise ... I mean Cotton. All that said, I am going to give the series at least one more try. I've read Dragondoom and it was a lot more recently than the others. I remember liking it a lot. I'll probably read "The Eye of the Hunter" because I have that one and it's the next book in chronological order.
